Antique Soda & Beverage Bottles from NYC

Soda bottles are among the most recognizable of antique glass categories, and the most deeply tied to American commercial history. The pieces in this collection were recovered from New York City's historic waterfront, where pre-1950s beverage glass has been preserved by decades of shoreline disposal. Early Coca-Cola bottles, embossed seltzer and soda water containers, regional soft drink brands long since discontinued: each piece carries the embossing and heavy base construction of early American bottling.
