Mid-century American glassmakers frequently pressed allover surface textures into utility and household bottles — partly for grip, partly for shelf presence, a practical decision that reads today as unexpectedly sculptural. This unbranded clear glass bottle carries a dense wave pattern across its entire surface, catching and bending light in a way no smooth-sided bottle can. No maker's mark or product attribution survives, which is typical of the mass-produced utility glass that moved through American homes without much documentation — the texture itself is the only clue to its manufacture.
Embossing: none present. No maker's mark, product name, or base code appears anywhere on the bottle — the allover wave texture is the sole surface detail, applied during manufacture rather than added after.
Condition is good. Light surface scratches consistent with age. No chips or cracks. The wave pattern remains crisp and fully dimensional throughout.
