Flat-profile amber scotch bottles were a signature mid-century spirits format, prized for the way the flat, hand-fitted form let glassmakers apply ornate embossed detailing across a wide front face — a level of care applied to bottles meant to look as good on a shelf as they did doing their job. This example carries that embossed detailing intact, and the amber glass shifts from deep cognac to warm honey depending on the light.
Embossing: an ornate embossed design across the front face; no maker's name or brand present.
Condition is good. No chips or cracks noted.
Dimensions: 7" H × 3.4" W × 1.5" D | Amber glass | Good vintage condition
A natural fit for a Neo Deco bar cart alongside brass accents and geometric glassware, or as a standalone piece for collectors of embossed mid-century spirits bottles.
