Authentic mid-century amber glass flask with Federal Law embossing (1935-1964) and genuine beach-worn patina throughout. Note: small chip on mouth, clearly visible in photos.
Some bottles come out of the ocean looking brand new. This isn't one of them - and that's exactly the point. This amber flask has spent time on the beach, and it shows. The scratches, the light patina, the worn surface - all of it is honest, and all of it is part of what this bottle is.
Authentic mid-century amber glass flask in the classic rectangular form. Embossed with FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR RE-USE OF THIS BOTTLE - the federal regulation required on all US liquor bottles between 1935 and 1964. Base marked R94.
Note: There is a small chip on the mouth of the bottle, clearly visible in the photos. Otherwise the glass is intact throughout, with honest beach wear throughout.
Hand-recovered from historic NYC dumping grounds and shorelines, where mid-century glass has rested for decades.
USES
▪ Vintage bar cart character piece - the worn patina reads as authentically aged
▪ Neo Deco shelf styling where honest imperfection adds depth
▪ Collector piece for Federal Law era amber flask enthusiasts
▪ Bud vase or single-stem display where patina is a feature
▪ Decorative display for vintage spirits and flask collectors
▪ Character prop for photography or editorial styling
For Neo Deco and Dark Academia collectors who value honest wear over pristine condition, this flask is the real thing - a bottle that's been somewhere and looks like it. The amber glass and beach patina together make it feel like it belongs in a grandfather's study or a weathered bar cabinet.
This authentic bottle was recovered from NYC mid-century dumping grounds - beaches where discarded vintage glass has rested for decades. By choosing Brooklyn Sea Glass, you're embracing circular living and giving beautiful vintage materials a second intentional life instead of letting them fade into history.
