Authentic 1952 Cointreau liqueur bottle in large clear glass - the square flask form with LIQUEUR across the front and COINTREAU reading around the back. Federal Law text wrapping both faces. Base date-stamped 1952.

Cointreau - the French triple sec liqueur founded in Angers in 1849 - has been one of the most recognizable names in spirits history for over 150 years. This large square flask was the American market format: substantial, clear glass, with LIQUEUR in large bold letters on the front face and COINTREAU on the back. The Federal Law text confirms US production or import compliance between 1935 and 1964; the 1952 base stamp places it precisely.

Note: tiny chip on the mouth, clearly visible in photos. Slight hazing inside the bottle consistent with age. The glass is intact throughout otherwise.

Hand-recovered from historic NYC dumping grounds, where mid-century glass treasures have rested for decades.

USE CASES
▪ French spirits collector piece - Cointreau is immediately recognizable to anyone who knows cocktails
▪ Neo Deco or Art Deco bar cart display - the large square form reads as serious vintage barware
▪ Dark Academia styling alongside vintage books and objects
▪ Statement bud vase for tall dried stems or dramatic botanicals
▪ Vintage entertaining display for cocktail and spirits enthusiasts
▪ Photography or editorial prop for vintage bar styling

The substantial size and clear glass let the COINTREAU embossing carry the bottle - it's immediately recognizable to collectors and cocktail enthusiasts. Style with brass barware and vintage cocktail books for a bar display with actual context behind it.

This authentic bottle was recovered from NYC mid-century dumping grounds - beaches where discarded vintage glass has rested for decades. By choosing Brooklyn Sea Glass, you're embracing circular living and giving beautiful vintage materials a second intentional life instead of letting them fade into history.
