Before it was sea glass, this was someone's kitchen.
This tumbled glass began as household glass, china cabinet panes, refrigerator shelving, and similar flat glass fixtures common in mid-century New York homes. This 1950s-and-older glass was discarded decades ago at historic dump sites along NYC's shoreline, where it broke down naturally before being hand-recovered piece by piece from the beach.
That origin is exactly why it's flat on two sides, a signature trait you won't find in bottle-based sea glass, and it's what makes this material especially useful for flush gluing in mosaics, resin trays, and jewelry settings where a stable back matters.
Comes in soft seafoam and pale sky blue, sized 10-15mm, tumbled in-house to a smooth, sea-glass finish.
Well suited for jewelry making, mosaic art, and resin work, or simply scattered in a bowl for a soft coastal accent. The pale, muted palette reads quietly rather than brightly, a good fit for a minimalist or cottagecore display.
