Ball has been a defining name in American home canning since the late nineteenth century, and this small jar carries the brand's distinctive waffle, or crosshatch, texture from the 1930s.
A waffle grid pattern wraps around the jar, with the Ball logo embossed on the base. One panel is left smooth and flat, originally designed to hold a product label.
Condition shows regular wear with light minor scratching and very slight hazing consistent with age. No chips or cracks. This is authentic vintage patina.
Dimensions: 4.5" H × 2.25" W × 2.25" D | Clear glass | Good condition | Waffle grid texture, Ball logo base marking
The flat label panel makes it easy to face forward with your own custom pantry labels, and its compact size suits a Farmhouse kitchen shelf or a Cottagecore canning jar collection.
Recovered from New York City's historic shorelines and landfill sites by Brooklyn Sea Glass. Ships carefully packed.
