This clear glass bottle was manufactured in 1942 by the Owens-Illinois Glass Company for Abbott Laboratories, using the company's proprietary Duraglas tempering process introduced just two years earlier.

Measurement numbers run along the front for reading fluid levels, with the Abbott logo on the back and Abbott Laboratories Duraglas embossed on the base.

Condition shows regular wear with light surface hazing and minor scratching consistent with age. No chips or cracks. The wear is authentic mid-century patina.

Dimensions: 7" H × 3.25" W | Clear glass | Good condition | Embossed measurement scale, Abbott logo, Duraglas base marking

This bottle is a striking Dark Academia or apothecary shelf piece, and its wartime medical history gives it real conversation value for collectors of scientific and pharmaceutical glass.

Recovered from New York City's historic shorelines and landfill sites by Brooklyn Sea Glass. Ships carefully packed.
