This sea-worn amber glass Art Deco flask carries decades of ocean transformation, its surface softened by New York City's tidal currents into a frosted, sea glass patina that no tumbler or acid bath can replicate. The effect is completely unreplicable, and this mid-century piece was recovered from historic NYC shorelines.
The flask's Art Deco stepped lines remain crisp on both sides despite the wear, and HALF PINT is molded into the glass marking its original capacity. There is a small chip at the mouth consistent with its time in the water.
Condition reflects genuine ocean wear: an even frosted patina throughout and a small chip at the mouth. No other damage.
Dimensions: 7.4" H × 3.4" W × 1.3" D | Amber glass | Sea-worn patina | Chip at mouth
This flask works well as a bud vase for a single dried stem, a bar cart conversation piece, or grouped with other sea glass for a coastal display.
Recovered from New York City's historic shorelines and landfill sites by Brooklyn Sea Glass. Ships carefully packed.
